The Covid-19 pandemic that struck changed the methods of communication for a variety of matters whether involving administration or teaching. SDEC provides a variety of applications that can be used as a communication platform, including Ms Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and Skype for Business.

SDEC took the initiative to provide a virtual background option with a visual campus background to increase the love for the university as well as promote USIM and SDEC to outsiders. There are several background options according to user preferences and will be added in the future.
